Berryhill Fire To Build New Station
BERRYHILL, Oklahoma - The Berryhill Fire Department will break ground Saturday for its new fire station.
On August 11, Tulsa County voters living in Berryhill's fire protection district approved a $750,000 bond issue to fund the project at 5911 West 41st Street South.
"This facility will be a central hub for the community. It will allow for better communication among residents and continue the small town feel that makes Berryhill so special to us all," said Fire Chief Michael Hall.
Hall says construction of the new station will take about a year with plans for the Berryhill Fire Department to begin operating from the new station next summer.
