3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Medford

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Medford, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 2:26 p.m. Its epicenter was located six miles northeast of Medford, and 32 miles west, northwest of Ponca City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
