Police: Man Shot At On Way Home From Tulsa State Fair
TULSA, Oklahoma - A man told Tulsa Police he was assaulted and shot at as he left the Tulsa State Fair Sunday night. The man told police he was walking south on Pittsburg Avenue just before 11 p.m. when one of four people asked him his name.
The victim says he ran away and they chased him. He told police he heard gunfire before running into a backyard near 21st Street. He didn't know the homeowner, according to police.
He did know two of the suspects, documents show.
The man was assaulted but did not need medical care, officers said. The victim said he got into a fight with two of those four people about two weeks ago.
