Earthquake Reported In NW Oklahoma

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon in Woods County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon in Woods County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The earthquake happened shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter was located about nine miles south, southwest of Alva, 40 miles east, northeast of Woodward, 50 miles west, northwest of Enid and 107 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.

The earthquake was more than four miles deep. 

No immediate reports of damage or injuries were reported.
