The City of Tulsa announced earlier this year it will be selling off nearly a dozen parks.
City leaders say it's a way to make money and to save money. The city made $230,000 in December 2014 when two old fire stations were auctioned.
Osage SkyNews 6 HD pilot Will Kavanagh tells us the for sale sign is up at Mitchell Park, 5949 E. 36th Place.
Mitchell Park is rarely used, officials say, and it is 6.5 acres of baseball fields. The park backs up to property owned by Bishop Kelley High School, and we're told BK has shown an interest. Bidding is open to anyone.
