Tulsa's "Gold Santa" strikes again.

As in years past, someone put gold coins in Salvation Army red kettles around town.

This year, the anonymous donor or donors gave four gold pieces - including two Krugerrands, along with a gold bar and a copper coin.

Tuesday, the Salvation Army cashed it all at Tulsa Gold and Silver, and it adds up to $5,500.

Major James Taylor said, "This individual, or individuals, like to seem to move around from one location to another each year, kind of keeping the suspense going.

Three of the coins were donated on 'matching gift days,' so the gifts go even further.

Some of the money will help provide for the forgotten angels who were adopted from the Angel Tree, but had no gifts returned.
