John Holcomb Gives Sugar Bowl Preview

Mike Gundy and the OSU Cowboys are down in New Orleans ready to take the field to face the Ole Miss in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. 

It's OSU's first time in the Sugar Bowl since 1945, and the Cowboys will be looking to notch their first 11 win season since 2011.

While the head coaches were pretty open about the change in preparations for this particular bowl game - being physical in practices and such - you're only going to get so much out of a coach ahead of a big game like this. There are secrets. 

OSU's Mike Gundy isn't saying whether Mason Rudolph or J.W. Walsh will start at quarterback. And Ole Miss Head Coach Hugh Freeze says in this situation it isn't that big a deal.

The Rebels will count on their talented quarterback Chad Kelly.  He's got a big arm, but he can run it too.  

Games like this often come down to which team is more motivated to be in this bowl game. And that shouldn't be a problem for the Cowboys.

Football season came to an end for Sooner fans in the Orange Bowl Thursday. The Sooners led at halftime but couldn't get anything going in the second half. The final score was 37 to 17.
