Three Suspects In Tulsa Homicide Surrender

<p>Two men wanted in connection with Tulsa's first homicide of 2016 turned themselves in to police Monday night, a third man turned himself in Tuesday.</p>

Two men wanted in connection with Tulsa's first homicide of 2016 turned themselves in to police Monday night, a third man turned himself in Tuesday.

Police say Jeremy Sykes, 24, is being held on a murder complaint and Boyd Evans, 23, is being held on an unrelated burglary warrant at the Tulsa County jail.

Devin Mitchell, 23, surrendered to detectives Tuesday.  He is expected to be booked into jail Tuesday afternoon.

Police identified the victim as Kyle Stapleton, 19. They said he was shot Sunday night at the Cobblestone Apartments in the 4900 block of South 76th Street East Avenue.

Police said they believe Evans arranged for Sykes and Mitchell to buy marijuana from Stapleton at Stapleton's apartment. A fight broke out, according to police, and Stapleton was shot and killed.
