Cold Front Brings Dangerous Wind Chills To Oklahoma

A cold front brought some snow into Green Country and is leaving behind dangerous wind chills. Sunday morning wind chills should be in the single digits - and barely in those.

Narrow snow bands dropped up to 3 and 4 inches to the west and northeast sides of the Tulsa metro. Other areas nearby barely had a dusting.

There will be a danger of refreezing as temperatures drop overnight.

Temperatures fell throughout the day Saturday. Bridges and overpasses are expected to become slick, and wet roads carried a freeze risk as the temperature dropped.

Travel advisories have been lifted, but you will need to watch out for black ice Sunday morning as temperatures are not expected to warm above freezing until later Sunday afternoon.
