Four women - three adults and a teenager - were taken into custody after Tulsa police say they were driving a car stolen in a recent armed robbery. Officers caught the women near the Waterstone Apartments in the 5600 of South Peoria Avenue.

An officer on patrol spotted the car and was calling it in when he said the driver pulled into the apartment parking lot. The woman stopped and everyone in the car bailed out.

Police quickly took all four people into custody. They arrested Moesha Carney, 20, in connection to an armed robbery earlier this week.

News On 6 reported on the armed robbery and car theft May 3, 2016. Three people were at a city park near 71st and Yale when a man and woman with a gun approached them and stole their 2001 Chevy Cavalier, police said.

After the car was found early Thursday, police notified robbery detectives who interviewed the people in the car. Carney fit the description of the woman who stole the vehicle, and she confessed to the crime, according to an arrest report.

She was booked on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a stolen vehicle. We're still waiting on word from Tulsa Police on whether the other women were arrested or released.
