A group of Oklahoma grocers, convenience store owners, and grape growers kicked off a campaign Wednesday morning in support of modern alcohol laws.

The group held a news conference at the Oklahoma Super Trade Show at the Cox Convention Center, kicking off campaign “Yes to 792” and urging voters to say "Yes" to State Question 792.

The proposal would allow supermarkets and convenience stores to sell wine and high-point beer. The State's Retail Liquor Association has asked a judge to block to November vote, claiming the proposal is unconstitutional.

Supporters will hold another news conference at 3:30 p.m. at Reasor’s in Brookside to kick of the campaign in Tulsa.
