Between basketball games this weekend, Russell Westbrook will be supporting his favorite comedian.
Westbrook's high school buddy "Juice" is hosting a comedy show in Bricktown this weekend.
Juice told News 9’s Kelly Ogle he used to hit the hardwoods with his good friend.
“Who was better?” asked Ogle.
“He had me beat by a little bit,” said Juice.
Juice said he has prepared a great set of jokes and fans can expect to learn a few things about Westbrook.
“Does Russell have any stand-up comedian in him?” Ogle asked Juice.
“People don’t know. He’s actually real funny,” replied Juice.
Westbrook wouldn’t confirm whether he has any role in the show, but did tell News 9 “there’s always surprises that may come throughout the show.”
The show is at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at the Criterion. Proceeds benefit two charities. Click here for tickets.
