Tulsa police arrested a 27-year-old woman Wednesday on a child abuse by injury warrant.

Police arrested Misty Dawnise Hobbs at the OSU Medical Center. Police said Hobbs had given birth to her fourth child at OSUMC earlier this week.

A child crisis detective said the case surfaced a couple of months ago when Hobbs' 6-year-old showed up to school saying his mother was abusing him but had he no visible injuries. The third time, he had numerous injuries, the detective said.

All four of Hobbs' children are now in protective custody.

Online court records state Hobbs was charged with one count of child abuse by injury on Tuesday, and a judge issued a warrant for her arrest the same day.

Hobbs' bond has been set at $50,000. She's scheduled to appear in court Friday.
