No One Injured In Jenks House Fire

Posted: Updated:
JENKS, Oklahoma -

Firefighters say everyone made it out safely after a Jenks home caught fire Wednesday evening.

Jenks Fire Captain Kirk Morris says they got a call of a car on fire in the garage of a home near 112th and Elwood before 10 p.m.  They arrived to find flames coming through the home's roof.

Morris says that made the fire more difficult to put out.

The Glenpool Fire Department also sent a truck to help.

Morris says the cause of the fire, which destroyed the home, remains under investigation.
