Fans of S.E. Hinton's iconic book, The Outsiders, are celebrating its 50th anniversary. Three of the stars of the Outsiders movie, C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio and Darrin Dalton were all in Tulsa this weekend to help raise money to restore the Outsiders house.

Circle Cinema hosted a special screening of the movie Sunday afternoon with a question and answer session with the stars.
Danny Boy O'Connor bought the Outsiders House and is overseeing its restoration.

"It's all for a good cause to support the rebuilding of the Outsiders house and restoring it and turning it into a museum and supporting not only local cinema but a classic iconic movie theater in Tulsa that was also featured in the movie," he said.

He hopes to have more of the film's stars in attendance for next year's celebration.
