High Levels Of Chemical In Sapulpa's Water, Company Warns

The Sapulpa Rural Water Company is sending letters to customers alerting them to high levels of a chemical in the water.

The company said it is not a water emergency, but the elderly, people with compromised immune systems, and those with infants should consult their doctor.

They said the high levels of Total Trihalomethanes are due to pumping practices that are being improved and treatment will take care of the problem.
