SAPULPA, Oklahoma - Sapulpa first responders gave their community members a chance to learn more about the life-saving equipment they use every day.

The Sapulpa Fire department hosted a community open house at the firehouse near Dewey and Birch.

Firefighters showed how they get people out of vehicles after an accident and performed fire extinguisher demonstrations.

There was also food and drinks plus coloring books and balloons for the kids.
