VINITA, Oklahoma -

Police in Vinita say they're seeing a spike in car break-ins. Officers say someone broke into at least three cars in the Sunset Drive area Sunday.

VPD posted photos of two young men they want to talk to in connection with the car burglaries. If you recognize them, call the department's non-emergency number at 918-256-6414.

Police also warn the public to use extra care to keep from being victims of burglars who go through neighborhoods looking for loot. Officers reminded residents to be sure to lock car doors and take valuables inside.
