Police ID Suspected Shooter At Tulsa's LaFortune Tower Apartments
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa Police are looking for a man they said shot a sleeping woman.
Police said 57-year-old Avery Franks shot a woman who was asleep on a couch on the second floor of LaFortune Tower near 17th and Southwest Boulevard.

Officers said Franks knew the victim and left after the shooting.
A number of officers were called in to search the apartment complex, but could not locate him. Police believe Franks left the apartment complex prior to the arrival of police officers.
"We had to go through this building and make sure, without a doubt, that he was not in this building and that he could not pose a threat to anyone else," Sergeant Shane Tuell said.
EMSA took the 57-year-old victim to a Tulsa hospital where she is listed in critical condition and is expected to survive.
