Fire Ravages Tulsa Home

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa fire crews battled a house fire near Apache and North Peoria Monday morning. The fire was under control just before 4:30 a.m.

Flames were shooting 20 to 30 feet up from the roof of the house when firefighters arrived. They say there is significant damage to every room though it appears the fire started in the back of the home.

A neighbor said he saw the resident Sunday, but the person's car wasn't in the driveway Monday morning. Fire crews have made entry into the house and don't believe anyone was hurt.

The house appears to be a total loss.
