Deputies: Owasso Standoff Ends With Man Taking His Own Life
ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma - Rogers County Sheriff's deputies say a standoff with a suicidal man ended late Monday with the man taking his own life.
Deputies along with Owasso Police's SWAT team were called to the home near 106th Street North and 161st East Avenue just before 5:30 p.m.
Sheriff's Office Major Coy Jenkins says deputies and officers eventually entered the home around 10:30 p.m. after he says they were not able to establish any sort of communications with the man and found him dead from a self inflicted wound.
The man's name has not been released.
