Child Hit By Vehicle While Playing In The Street, Tulsa Police Say

A 13-year-old is recovering after being hit by a car.

Tulsa police say the child was hit while playing in the street with friends near 46th Street North and Hartford.

They say the boy went to a nearby library for help.  He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the driver said they didn’t see the kids in the street before the incident.
