Students all over Oklahoma visited manufacturing sites on Friday to learn about the benefits of factory jobs.
In Broken Arrow, about 40 students were on the factory floor at Oseco which makes pressure relief equipment. They are drawing students from tech classes into the workforce and offering better than average pay.
"I think as things move forward finding people with digital skills is going to be even more important; our business is going to keep evolving," said Oseco President Ron Barcik.
The average pay for manufacturing jobs in Oklahoma is around $65,000.
