A Tulsa man has been sentenced for taking part in a methamphetamine and heroin ring as well as being in possession of meth and heroin.
Dannie Dill, 47, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison followed by four years of supervised release, according to U.S. Attorney Trent Shores. He pleaded guilty in September to charges of drug conspiracy, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and removal of property to prevent seizure.
U.S. Attorney Trent Shores said Dill was identified as a suspect in Operation Alpha, a Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative targeting northern Oklahoma's most dangerous criminals.
"Thanks to the efforts of the Tulsa Police Department partnering with federal agents, this conspiracy has been shut down," Shores said.
