A small band of snow passed over the Tulsa area at about 4 a.m., but heavier snow was falling in southeast Oklahoma.
Video from News On 6 Storm Tracker Von Castor showed heavy snow falling near Eufaula at about 4:45 a.m. He reported Highway 69 between Eufaula and McAlester was very slick.
The storm also brought icy north winds gusting to 45 miles per hour in some places. Wind chills are down to single digits in some parts of northeast Oklahoma and in the teens in the rest.
Flurries should continue across eastern Oklahoma for the next hour or so, but any accumulations should be less than a half-inch.
