A small earthquake was recorded near the town of Perry, Okla., Monday afternoon.
The 3.2 magnitude temblor struck at approximately 4:40 p.m., nine miles south of Perry, or about 47 mile north, northeast of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of about half a mile.
No damage or injuries have been reported at this time.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes measuring 4.0 and higher.
