OKLAHOMA CITY – A group of state lawmakers made a surprise inspection this morning of the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office.
The group, led by state Representative Randy Terrill, inspected the agency's Oklahoma City office this morning.
The agency has been under scrutiny after its national accreditation was revoked, sexual battery charges were filed against a former chief investigator and the chief medical examiner was terminated after only one year on the job.
