Two Owasso police officers are in serious condition after they were hit by a car Thursday night.
Both officers were seriously hurt but the injuries are not life threatening and they are expected to be okay.
Owasso Police said the call came in as a shoplifting incident at the Dollar General near 76th Street North and Highway 169.
Two officers responded and police said the suspect fought them when they tried to get her out of her car.
Police said the woman backed into one of the officers, damaging a patrol car in the process.
Police said her vehicle then lurched forward, dragging the other officer into a brick pillar a few stores down at the Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts Store. The pillar collapsed onto the officer.
Lieutenant Nick Boatman said, "Course in law-enforcement you're going to have injuries - from people fighting, or fleeing, or anything else, but, in this particular case it was extremely serious. As you can see they were attempted to be run over by a vehicle, and then part of the building crashed out on them. It's very serious."
Owasso Police said the suspect was acting very erratically. She is also at the hospital.
No names have been released at this time.
