Four years ago Monday, 65-year-old Johnny Baker went missing. He came to Tulsa a lot on business - and it was on one of those trips when he disappeared.

He was found murdered, two months later, his body dumped near Keystone Dam.

Johnny Baker's death remains a mystery. Adding to the mystery is a message left by mistake on an elderly woman's voicemail in Owasso, talking about what to do now that the body has been found. That woman called investigators, and they tracked down the man who left that message, but he has refused to say a word about it.

"You cannot make somebody come in and take a polygraph test. Asked him over and over to show up but he never does. If you're not guilty, I'd be there in a heartbeat," said Carmen Matherly, Johnny's daughter.

Carmen Matherly is at her wit's end, when it comes to figuring out who killed her father and why.

She wonders if he was followed home and robbed or if it was one of his renters who didn't want to pay. She is just spinning her wheels because there's no new leads in the case, and she's now facing her fourth Thanksgiving and Christmas without her dad.

"The holidays are terrible, but every day is," she said. "I wake up and his picture is right there. There's not a day, in the back of my mind, I don't try to play detective myself and try to find this person that's out there."

She says cell phone records show her dad's phone pinged off cell towers in north Tulsa on November 17th, 2010, where he was headed to collect rent. It also pinged west of Tulsa, near the location where he was found months later.

But, his truck was found in East Tulsa, locked and abandoned under the overpass at Interstate 244 and Memorial. No fingerprints and his cell phone and wallet gone.

"I know there's people out there that know the real truth to this case, and I beg and plead everyday and pray that they would have the heart to come forward," said Carmen Matherly, the victim's daughter.

Carmen says they're a normal country family who never dreamed something like this could happen to them and having answers, having an arrest, would help.

Investigators need help to catch this killer, so if you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
