Whether you smoke or not, an Oklahoma Department of Health ruling Thursday affects you.
Governor Keating is considering whether or not he'll sign an emergency rule from the state Board of Health that would force restaurants to either keep the smoke away from non-smokers, or become a non smoking restaurant all together.
Under the new rules, restaurants would be required to have ventilation systems in place to keep second-hand smoke from circulating.
A spokesperson for Keating says he will most likely go along with the new rules. If approved, the new rules take effect in July.
