Motorcycle Rider Hospitalized Following Crash In Tulsa; Lanes Closed At 27th & Yale

A crash involving a motorcycle sent the rider to the hospital Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The Tulsa Police Department said it happened at 27th and Yale, where a white Toyota was turning onto Yale with the motorcycle heading north.

The car struck the motorcycle, which police said had the right of way, and the rider was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Tulsa Police said on social media that both north and southbound lanes at this intersection are closed as emergency crews work the scene. Police said it could take several hours, so use an alternate route.

Police said the driver of the other vehicle has not been cited but an investigation is still underway.
