Shawnee High School Girls Swim Team Wins State Championship For 3rd Consecutive Year

The Shawnee High School girls swim team won the 5A State Championship for the third year in a row.

Last April, the team lost their pool to a tornado, so the Citizen Pottawatomi Nation let them use their pool, but it wasn't the right design to practice.

So, the coaches put the girls in bungee cords to practice swimming in place and it looks liked it paid off!
