1 medium avocado (seeded, peeled & mashed)½ to 2/3 cup yellow or red onion, minced 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, at room temperature 1 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese Garlic salt to taste (1/2 to 1 tsp.)
In a bowl, mix all ingredients together using a potato masher. (The potato masher helps retain the texture of the cottage cheese.) Cover the surface of the dip with plastic wrap if not serving immediately to keep the avocado from discoloring.
Serve with your favorite chips. Bev recommends serving with Fritos Scoops, or with veggies. Enjoy!
