1 1/2 cups C & H Pure Cane Granulated Sugar 1 1/2 cups flour 3/4 cup melted butter 2 eggs 1 teaspoon almond extract 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 Tablespoons sliced almonds, lightly toasted 1 teaspoon C & H Pure Granulated Sugar (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9 inch round cake pan. Lightly toast almonds. Blend sugar and melted butter. Beat in eggs. Stir in almond and vanilla extracts. Add salt and flour and mix well. Spread batter into pan. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and almonds. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
