OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Former Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher faces a May 19th trial on a bribery charge.  The 67-year-old Fisher already is serving three years in prison for a campaign corruption case. He also is scheduled to go on trial February 11th in Tulsa on a tax evasion charge.

Fisher served as insurance commissioner for nearly six years before resigning in 2004.

In the bribery case, Fisher is accused of accepting a $25,000 check and other gifts from a Dallas businessman, his family and business associates in exchange for favorable treatment.

The businessman hasn't been charged and has denied bribing Fisher.
