CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) _ Former Oklahoma State golfer Hunter Mahan fires a 5-under-par 65 to finish second in the Buick Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut.
The finish was Mahan's best on the PGA Tour since he tied for second in a tournament in Reno, Nevada, two years ago.
Mahan birdied the final two holes Sunday to tie for second with Ryan Moore, three shots behind Connecticut native J.J. Henry, who recorded his first PGA Tour win.
Mahan earned $387,200 for his second-place finish.
