New developments in the death of a Creek County toddler.

Prosecutors charged Stephanie Brown with first degree murder and child neglect in the death of her daughter.

18 month-old Paige Brown died in a car crash that happened last month as her father, Kevin Brown, tried to run from police in the family car.

Prosecutors allege Stephanie Brown should have known her husband was drunk and they allege she did not strap the toddler in correctly. But her attorney says she did not know her husband was drunk and she says the child was strapped in properly.

Kevin Brown is charged with first degree murder and child neglect, as well as DUI and eluding police.
