MIDLAND, Texas (AP) _ Five Midland players drive in at least two runs each as the RockHounds beat the Tulsa Drillers 12-8.

Ronnie Merrill Jr. went 2-4 with three RBIs for Midland last night, and Brant Colamarino, Matthew Allegra, Kevin Melillo and Lloyd Turner each had two RBIs as the RockHounds took a 9-0 lead after five innings against Tulsa starter Marc Kaiser and held on.

The Drillers rallied within 9-6 in the top of the eighth, but Midland added three insurance runs in the bottom of the inning.

Tulsa's Joe Koshansky hit his 23rd home run of the season, a 2-run shot in the sixth inning, and Matt Macri added another 2-run homer for the Drillers in the ninth.

David Bradley allowed nine hits and three runs in 5-and-two-thirds innings for the RockHounds.
