Guymon Police Investigate Homicide

GUYMON, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is questioning a man about the shooting death of a bar owner after the man was released from a hospital Monday morning.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Steve Dodgin was killed about 2 AM Saturday and after an argument with a man inside the bar. She says Dodgin and several others in the Spa Club physically took the man outside where they fought with him before he got in his car and left.

Brown says the man returned later with a shotgun and fired into the bar and killed Dodgin.

She says the man was hospitalized for treatment of cuts to his head and arm before being released Monday.

Brown says the man has not been arrested but is being questioned as a "person of interest." His name hasn't been released.
