Two separate Tulsa Police chases end with one arrest

A busy night for authorities as they chase cars and confiscate drugs. The first incident happened shortly after 11 PM Monday, when officers tried to stop a stolen car near 41st and US Highway 75.

Undercover officers tracked the vehicle in a known drug area and ran the tag. The suspect took off, and didn't stop until he got to Bixby. That's when he ran off on foot. A search by air and with police dogs turned up no one. Officers say they found drugs in the car.

About two hours later, officers tried to stop a speeding truck on Lewis in Tulsa. The driver didn't want to stop, and led police on a short chase that ended at the Bradford Square Apartments at 2442 East 51st Street.

The truck turned out to be stolen out of Owasso in July. One person was arrested. Officers found a pistol and about $2,000 worth of drugs in the vehicle.
