First degree murder charges have been filed against a Tulsa woman who admits she stabbed her 6-year-old son to death.

Police say Sheilla Shea stabbed her son Patric[pictured] at their north Tulsa home last Saturday. Patric died at the hospital. Shea reportedly told her family she intended to kill her other children because she feared someone else was going to kill them.

Family members say Sheila Shea was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
