McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- A McAlester man is killed when his car runs off US Highway 69 in Pittsburg County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 76-year-old Kenneth Davis died Tuesday afternoon about two miles north of Kiowa.

Troopers say Davis was headed north on the highway when his car left the road, went into the center median, struck a culvert and rolled three-and-a-half times.

Davis suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The patrol says Davis was wearing a seat belt.
