Sooners remain steady in AP Poll

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The University of Oklahoma remained at Number 15 in The Associated Press college football poll.

The Sooners didn't move following a 37-to-20 win on Saturday over unranked Washington.

The Sooners opponent next week -- the Oregon Ducks -- moved up two places to Number 18 after a 31-to-24 win over unranked Fresno State.

Ohio State remains Number 1 after the Buckeye's 24-to-7 win on Saturday over then-second-ranked Texas. Texas fell six spots to Number Eight in the poll.

The rest of the top five are Notre Dame at Number 2, Auburn at Number 3, Southern Cal at 4 and West Virginia number 5.
