Broken Arrow Shooting Under Investigation

Broken Arrow Police are looking for a man considered a person of interest in a shooting that sent one woman to the hospital.

The shooting happened just before 5 PM Wednesday in the 1100 block of North 31st.

Police say a 26 year old woman told them she was from Texas and had recently broken up with her boyfriend. She came to Broken Arrow to stay with relatives. The woman says the man was waiting on her when she arrived at a family member’s home.

Broken Arrow Police Sgt. Ed Ferguson: "her ex-boyfriend confronted them in front of the home. He brandished a firearm as they were trying to run away and he fired multiple rounds."

Broken Arrow Police say they're looking for a person of interest, 33 year old Christopher McCain. He left in a 1995 Toyota Corolla. It's either teal or turquoise and has a Texas license plate with the tag of 044-GYS.

Anyone who sees the vehicle should call Broken Arrow Police.
