Cartwright Woman Killed In Accident

DURANT, Okla. (AP) -- A Cartwright woman died Saturday when her vehicle collided with another vehicle on U.S. Highway 69 in Bryan County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Dartania Deeneene Mattingly was dead on arrival at a local hospital after sustaining head, arm and leg injuries in the 1:26 p.m. accident near Calera.

Troopers say Mattingly's car was headed west on a county road when it failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with another car headed north on U.S. 69.

Three others were treated for head and leg injuries and released from the hospital.
