LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) Johnny Dorn strikes out eight batters and allows 2 runs over 6 innings and Nebraska uses 2 big innings to beat Oklahoma State 9-2 Saturday.
Dorn moves to 5-1 with the win and Matt Foust threw 3 scoreless innings to earn his first save of the baseball season for the Cornhuskers.
Nebraska improves to 19-11 overall and 5-6 in Big 12 Conference play while OSU falls to 22-8 and 5-3.
Nebraska scored 4 runs in both the 1st and 4th innings. Nebraska's 1st-inning runs all came with 2 outs and OSU starter Robbie Weinhardt was replaced before the inning ended.
Andrew Brown and Andy Gerch each had RBI doubles in the inning for the Cornhuskers.
Brown finished 3-4 with a double, a triple and 2 RBIs.
Tyler Mach went 3-4 for OSU, but the rest of the Cowboys managed only 4 hits.
The loss ended the Cowboys' conference series winning streak at eight. OSU will close its three-game series against the Cornhuskers Sunday.
