WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) _ The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big Ten have announced an annual challenge between women's basketball teams from the two leagues beginning next fall.
The Big Ten/A-C-C Challenge will take place on the first Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after Thanksgiving. It would follow the men's basketball Big Ten/A-C-C Challenge.
Michigan goes to Miami to start the challenge on November 19th. The Big Ten will then host the next two games on November 28th, as Wake Forest travels to Northwestern and Iowa hosts Georgia Tech.
Three games are slated for November 29th, including Purdue traveling to North Carolina and Illinois playing at North Carolina State. A-C-C teams will host three of the four games scheduled for November 30th.
Duke has a game against Penn State on December 2nd to conclude the series.
