A decision could be reached as early as Tuesday regarding the employment status of a missing Oklahoma sheriff. Adair County commissioners are discussing what to do about Sheriff Charles Hartshorne's job. The longtime sheriff apparently took a job in Iraq, but he did not bother to tell anyone.

Hartshorne left Adair County in April and spent weeks training before going to Iraq. County commissioners are trying to decide whether to impeach Hartshorne or see if he resigns.

A resignation letter has reportedly been sent to commissioners from Iraq.
