Bicycling is one way to help the environment and get a little exercise in the process. Wednesday, INCOG kicked off its Bike 2 Work program encouraging residents to put down their car keys and ride to work on a bicycle. INCOG says you can save about a hundred bucks during the Ozone Alert season by biking to work just once a week. In addition, you will be helping reduce emissions that affect air quality.

"This summer is going to be really critical for us to keep our ozone level down to a level where we're not on the federal dirty air list. Cycling is one way to really contribute to that cause," says INCOGâ€™s transportation planner Patrick Fox.
