TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A 15-year-old Pittsburg County boy died Saturday from injuries he received in an all-terrain vehicle accident earlier in the week.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Colton Billingsly of Blanco died this morning at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Billingsly was a passenger on an ATV driven by 16-year-old Henry Hutson, who lost control on a Pittsburg County road and ran into a ditch last Sunday. Billingsly was thrown about ten feet from the vehicle.

Hutson was treated and released from a McAlester hospital.

The patrol says neither boy was wearing a helmet.
